Mowing the Lawn with Daddy

Jered was mowing the lawn one day, and Eli always wants to "help" daddy, so we got out his lawn mower for him. He would follow Jered around the lawn doing as daddy was doing. What a GREAT helper!

This year we had the grandparents over for fireworks and some of the neighbors joined us as well. We tried to do them on the 4th, Saturday, but we got rained and winded out. just like last year. So we had to phostphone them until Sunday. The kids loved them and wanted more, more, MORE!!!!

Our Little Tinkerbell

Madison has been in a dance class this last year and last night was her final recital. At the first dance program in December, she was a bit nervous and would not dance at all. In fact, she just stood there, then she sat down in the middle of the performance and would not dance.

Well, this is a NEW girl this time!!! She did a FANTASTIC job and danced her little heart out!!! Here are some pictures you can enjoy and can see what a great job she did! Jered and I are SOOOO proud of her! WAY TO GO MADDY!

Arches Park and Green River Camping

In April we went camping with Emily and Jared Dyer and our family to the Green River State Park. It was ALOT of fun!!! On Saturday we drove over to Arches National Park and saw all the beautiful rock arches and even took the kids on a little hike. We all had a good time and glad we got back in the car in time before it started to downpour on us!! Thanks Emily and Jared for coming with us!! We'll go do it again sometime!

Chicken Coop

So, for my birthday, Jered asked what I wanted. I told him I wanted a chicken coop so I can have chickens! He thinks I am CRAZY!!! Along with everyone else out there. That is ok! I really like the eggs and they are good for your yard to keep the bugs down and the kids like to play with them..... So, I am getting a chicken coop! We are building it together and it has been a fun project to do with Jered. Maddy is excited to be the egg collector and I think Eli will have fun chasing them around the yard. I'll post pictures of it when I get it done.

My first blog!!!! AHHHH

ok, so I'm pretty lame. This is my first blog. It is kinda wierd doing this, but I guess it is the "new thing". Ok, I guess it is pretty old, but new to me. I will give it a shot though.


Yesterday was my Birthday! Jered took me 4-wheeling to his dads property in Nephi canyon then out to dinner with some friends! It was a lot of fun! Maddy and Jered sang happy birthday to me at breakfast and Eli just shook his head "no" when Jer asked if he wanted to sing.

Maddy and Grandma Raff made me cupcakes today at Grandma's after church and mom made a birthday dinner for me. It was a lot of fun and good eating!!1

Jered is busy as everm now that he is going to build me a chicken coop! Yep, that's right, a chicken coop! It is for my birthday! I know I am crazy, ya'll don't need to tell me anymore, but that is what I wanted! I want the eggs and the kids to play with the chickens, and yes they love to play with them! They have had practice at grandpa Taylor's. We'll see how they go!!
